An Industry Briefing on the National Clinical Handover Initiative (PDF 279 KB) is available for downloadThe National Clinical Handover Initiative seeks to develop, implement and evaluate transferable product in one, or more, of four areas of activity:
- Specific handover processes
- Electronic tools and processes that provide systems to support handover of patient information
- Communication training and team training to support handover
- Tools for ongoing observation, monitoring and evaluation of handover practices in the workplace
An addendum to the Industry Brief, Appendix A "Action on Patient Safety (High Five's) Standard Operating Protocol" (PDF 567 KB), a World Health Organisation initiative on Handover Communication, is also available for download.
Response to Questions
