Falls Prevention Guidelines

The Commission’s major initiative in this area is Preventing Falls and Harm From Falls in Older People: Best Practice Guidelines for Australian Hospitals, Residential Aged Care Facilities and Community Care 2009 which were developed by the Commission and endorsed by Australian Health Ministers in November 2009.
