Fourth national mental health plan: first progress report of implementation activity January - December 2010

3. Implementation progress - jurisdictional activity

Page last updated: 2011

Progressing alongside the national efforts towards implementation of the Fourth Plan is the jurisdictional mental health reform activity. Shortly after the Fourth Plan was endorsed by Health Ministers, jurisdictions provided detailed summaries of baseline activity relevant to, but prior to the implementation of the Fourth Plan. This information is available on the Mental Health Standing Committee website as a companion document to the Fourth Plan Implementation Strategy and will be used to measure progress over the term of the Fourth Plan.

One year on, each jurisdiction has provided an overview of activity for 2010, relevant to each priority area of the Fourth Plan. These reports are meant as a brief summary of only that activity that relates to the objectives of the Fourth Plan and therefore do not reflect the entirety of mental health reform activity underway in each jurisdiction.
