HWA received 2 requests for information under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) during the Reporting Period. There were no active FOI requests at closure. HWA complied with all relevant legislative requirements in relation to FOI requests.
HWA complied with all relevant legislation, as required. These included:
- Disability Discrimination Act 1992;
- Work Health and Safety Act 2011;
- Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999; and
- Equal Employment Opportunity (Commonwealth Authorities) Act 1987.
The HWA leadership team was led by the Acting Chief Executive Officer (A/g CEO), and had responsibility for the day to day administration of the organisation and the execution of all directions given by the HWA Board. With the support of the leadership team the A/g CEO ensured that the Board was provided with all the necessary information to enable it to fulfil its governance responsibilities.
