Eight communities were visited and a range of stakeholders interviewed (including coordinators, aged care workers, shire representatives, clinic nurses and aged care clients) when available. The information contained below provides an overview of each community, the aged care service, pre-training interview information and the training delivered to date. The case studies also provided an opportunity to talk openly with stakeholders and explore issues relating to the Workforce Development Projects. As case study participants were assured of confidentiality of shared information, the de-identified responses from case study participants are included in the main report.

The eight communities included:

  • Ikuntji (Haast’s Bluff)
  • Julalikari
  • Ti Tree
  • Titjikala
  • Angurugu
  • Belyuen
  • Nauiyu
  • Yirrkala
All communities provided permission for photographs to be taken and included in this report.
