Terminology
The terms used to refer to nursing staff are registered nurses (also known as Registered Nurses Division 1) and enrolled nurses (also known as Registered Nurses Division 2), referred to collectively as nursing staff.The term ‘personal carer’ is used to refer to those staff providing personal care in residential aged care facilities, also known as assistants in nursing or personal care assistants.
The term ‘facilities’ is used to refer to residential aged care facilities.

Details of each EBPRAC project are included in appendices to this report (Appendix 1 – Appendix 13). The aim of these appendices is not to summarise every aspect of each project but to provide enough detail to inform this report and highlight interesting aspects of each project.Attribution of quotes

- Each project produced four six-monthly progress reports. Quotes taken from these reports are designated by the relevant time period – T1, T2, T3 or T4.
- Quotes taken from project final reports are referenced to the relevant report.
