Summary form 1—Active cases of Trachoma

The completed form was forwarded from the jurisdictional coordinators to the NTSRU for checking and analysis.

The Active cases of Trachoma form allowed data to be collected at the community level when assessing active cases of Trachoma in male and female children with screening questions on:

  • Estimated number of Aboriginal children in the community/school
  • Number of children examined for trachoma
  • Number of children with TI
  • Number of children with TF
  • Number of children active trachoma (TF and/or TI)
  • Number of children with TS
  • Number of children examined for clean face
  • Number of children with clean face
  • Number of children with absence of clean face and active trachoma
  • Number of children requiring treatment with azithromycin
  • Number of active cases who received treatment with azithromycin in total
  • Number of active cases who received treatment with azithromycin within two weeks of screening
