National Action Plan for Human Influenza Pandemic (NAP)

The NAP (external link) sets out how the Australian Government and state, territory and local governments will cooperate in prevention, preparedness, response and recovery from a human influenza pandemic.

Australian Health Management Plan for Pandemic Influenza 2009 (AHMPPI 2009)

The AHMPPI 2009 is a national health plan for responding to an influenza pandemic, based on international best practice and evidence. The purpose of this document is to outline the measures that the health sector will consider in response to an influenza pandemic and to provide an overview of the preparedness activities being undertaken to ensure that the health sector is adequately prepared for an influenza pandemic.

The National Pandemic Influenza Airport Border Operations Plan February 2009 has been developed by the Office of Health Protection in the Department of Health and Ageing following extensive consultation and feedback from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, Australian Customs Service, state and territory health departments and the airport and airline industry.
