The Government is in Caretaker Mode

The caretaker period extends from the date of dissolution of the House of Representatives at 12 noon on Wednesday 17 October 2007 to the day the election result is clear or, in the event of a change of government, until a new government is appointed. The date of the election is 24 November 2007.
