Breast milk makes Australia stronger
Breastfeeding babies helps makes them more immune to colds and flu, less prone to develop obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and asthma, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health and Ageing, Christopher Pyne, said on 31 July on the eve of World Breastfeeding Week.

Pyne launches youth mental health initiative
An Australian Government initiative worth more than $50 million, and designed to improve mental health services for young people, was launched on 18 July by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health and Ageing, Christopher Pyne. Called ‘headspace: the Youth Mental Health Foundation’ it aims to change the way youth mental health services are delivered, with an emphasis on youth-friendly environments and improved accessibility.
