1 January 2009 Medicare Safety Net Thresholds and Information
Thresholds for the extended Medicare safety nets increase on 1 January 2009
The thresholds for both the original and extended Medicare safety nets increase from 1 January 2009.
- The original safety net increases to $383.90 (from $365.70).
The extended Medicare safety net increases to:
- $555.70 (from $529.30) for the lower threshold; and
- $1,111.60 (from $1,058.70) for the upper threshold.
