These recommendations are designed to build upon the existing Physical Activity Guidelines for Adults, by providing advice developed specifically for older Australians. Although the recommendations may be manifested in different ways, according to specific populations or settings, these recommendations apply to older people across all levels of health and ability, and have application for older people living at home or in residential care.
