Situation summary

Multiple locally acquired cases of Hepatitis A virus infection have been identified in people who consumed the same brand of frozen mixed berries. The source of the Hepatitis A virus is still unconfirmed, however, the berries are the only common exposure for all cases. Frozen berries have caused a number of outbreaks overseas in recent years.
