Support Scheme for Rural Specialists
The Support Scheme for Rural Specialists (SSRS) provides funding for innovative approaches to support the continuing professional development (CPD) and peer support needs of specialists practising in rural and remote areas.
Extensive use is being made of modern technology to reach participating specialists.
The scheme is managed by the Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges (CPMC).
