This report provides a summary of the achievements of the National Continence Management Strategy since inception in 1998 to June 2006 and provides recommendations to assist with planning for future phases.

Video conferencing project evaluation

This project targeted people with continence problems who live in rural and remote areas of Australia, providing them with access to the expertise of major metropolitan continence services. It also offered continence clinicians working in these areas the opportunity to update their skills and expertise in continence management by providing education sessions via videoconferencing.

Incidence of incontinence as a factor in admission to aged care homes: executive summary.

This project is part of a group of research projects that have been funded by the Commonwealth Government’s National Continence Management Strategy. One of the aims of the National Continence Management Strategy is to reduce admission to aged care homes by improving the treatment and management of incontinence in older Australians.
