National Male Health
National Male Health Policy Consultation Forums
The Minister for Health and Ageing, the Hon Nicola Roxon MP, announced the commencement of the consultation process for the National Male Health Policy on 25 November 2008 with the release of Developing a Male Health Policy for Australia – Resource Kit.
Formal consultations on the development of the National Male Health Policy were held between February and October 2009. In total, 27 forums were held across all states and territories. Individual reports from these forums can be accessed by clicking on the Forum Report link that appears next to the forum location.
The National Male Health Policy team also accepted numerous submissions to enable those who were not able to attend a forum to contribute their ideas and experiences to the development of the first National Male Health Policy for Australia.
