It focuses on cannabis, amphetamines, LSD, MDMA, cocaine and heroin. For each drug, the review provides estimates of the number of lifetime and current users, details demographic charactersitics of users, examines patterns of use, and provides a review of what is currently known about the specific harms associated with use. It also examines what is known about trends in the use of each of these drugs, including prevalence of use, the demographic characteristics of users and routes of administration.
