Annual Report of the Advisory Panel on the Marketing in Australia of Infant Formula 2007 - 2008
The Panel monitors compliance with the Marketing in Australia of Infant Formulas: Manufacturers and Importers Agreement (MAIF Agreement). The aim of the MAIF Agreement is to contribute to the provision of safe and adequate nutrition for infants, by the protection and promotion of breastfeeding and by ensuring the proper use of breast milk substitutes when they are necessary.

The Annual Report contains information on the activities of the APMAIF and reports on complaints made under the MAIF Agreement. APMAIF Annual Reports are tabled in both houses of Parliament before they are made available to the public and interested groups.
