PharmBiz objectives and the PharmCIS IT program
Information on the objectives of PharmBiz and implementation of the PharmCIS IT program.
The primary objective of the PharmBiz Program is to deliver improved business systems to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Division, specifically in the form of:
- Improved Business Process and Work Practices;
- Improved Organisational Structure and Capabilities; and
- Improved IT Systems.
A key deliverable of the PharmBiz Program is the PharmCIS IT system.
The evaluation process for the PharmCIS RFT has now been completed.
A contract has been awarded to Fivium Pty Ltd and work on the design, build and implementation is due to commence in August 2010.
