PharmBiz objectives and the PharmCIS IT program

Information on the objectives of PharmBiz and implementation of the PharmCIS IT program.

In this section:

The primary objective of the PharmBiz Program is to deliver improved business systems to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Division, specifically in the form of:

  • Improved Business Process and Work Practices;
  • Improved Organisational Structure and Capabilities; and
  • Improved IT Systems.

A key deliverable of the PharmBiz Program is the PharmCIS IT system.

The tender for PharmCIS has now closed. The evaluation process has commenced and the outcome of this process will be known in the coming weeks.
