Aged Care GP Panels Initiative
The Aged Care GP Panels Initiative
The purpose of the Aged Care GP Panels Initiative is to ensure better access to primary medical care for residents of aged care homes and to enable general practitioners (GPs) and allied health service providers to work with residential aged care facilities (RACFs) on quality improvement strategies for the care of all residents.
Funding has been provided to all Divisions of General Practice, State Based Organisations and the Australian General Practice Network to implement and support the Aged Care GP Panels Initiative.
