Workforce Project (September 2006)
The Pacific Senior Health Officials Network Health Workforce Project was undertaken in 2006. The project team from Department of Health and Ageing met with government representatives and others in the Pacific with an interest in the recruitment and retention of skilled health professionals. The project team produced a report that made recommendations for a number of projects to address regional workforce issues.Nutrition Project (March 2006)
The Pacific Senior Health Officials Network Nutrition Project was undertaken in 2005. The Project Officer from the Department of Health and Ageing travelled to the Pacific and worked alongside a Pacific nutritionist. Together they produced a report on the current food environment and the context, programs, resources and communication practices in Pacific Island countries.Please note that information contained on this website is relevant to members of the Pacific Senior Health Officials Network only.
