GP Super Clinics
Primary Care Infrastructure Grants
In 2010-11, the Australian Government invested $64.5 million in Primary Care Infrastructure Grants to upgrade existing facilities in around 240 general practices, primary care and community health services, and Aboriginal Medical Services to improve access to integrated GP and primary health care.
In 2011-12, the Australian Government invested a further $54 million in Primary Care Infrastructure Grants, to upgrade and extend existing local general practices, primary care and community health services, and Aboriginal Medical Services to improve access to integrated GP and primary health care. Around 189 local clinics around the country will benefit from funding under Round Two of the Primary Care Infrastructure Grants.
The Primary Care Infrastructure Grants will be provided through two rounds in 2010 and 2011 across three streams of funding:
- Stream A - grants of up to $150,000 each
- Stream B - grants of up to $300,000 each
- Stream C - grants of up to $500,000 each

Applicants from the second grant round who have been shortlisted will now undertake negotiations with the Department before individual grants may be finalised. A list of the shortlisted applicants is provided as follows:

Help with accessing large documents

- Select an appropriate folder on a local drive to place the downloaded file

may inhibit your ability to continue browsing while the document is
opening and/or lead to system problems.
