A new single storey 500m2 purpose built facility, close to Monash University and 500m from Casey Hospital.The Clinic commenced operations on 10 October 2011.
Services
Multidisciplinary care
The Clinic provides multidisciplinary, integrated services through GPs, nurses and allied health professionals. Services include:- General practice;
- Nursing;
- Psychiatry;
- Psychology and mental health nursing services;
- Community education;
- Asthma management;
- Wound care;
- Immunisations (travel and childhood); and
- Pathology.
Preventative Care
The Clinic currently provides a range of preventative care via general practice and practice nurse consultations. These include:- Cervical screening;
- Blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose checks; and
- Risk factor identification
- Counseling;
- Flu vaccinations;
- Group support sessions for parents of children with disabilities (supported by Windemere Child and Family Services); and
Integrated Programs & Intiatives
The Clinic works closely with Windemere Child and Family Services, the provider of psychology services. The Clinic also participates in a number of Dandenong Casey General Practice Asssociation programs, including Closing the Gap, Bowel Cancer Screening and Health Benefits of Work.
