Evaluation of the HealthConnect program
An evaluation of the HealthConnect program was undertaken to assess its effectiveness and to inform the development of future eHealth policy and programs.
HealthConnect was a program that sought to improve safety and quality in healthcare by enabling improved access to key health information at the point of care through the use of electronic communication. Commencing in 2004 and concluding in June 2009, the HealthConnect program supported state-based projects through partnerships between the Australian Government and state and territory governments.
