What is Maintenance Funding?
Maintenance Funding is available to eligible organisations, which have already achieved organisational accreditation/certification, to maintain their accreditation/certification.Which organisations can receive Maintenance Funding?
Organisations which are eligible for assistance under EQHS-C, and have current organisational accreditation/certification under one of the following frameworks supported under EQHS-C:- Quality Improvement Council (QIC) Health and Community Standards.
- Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP) Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).
- International Organization for Standardization AS/NZS 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems – Requirements (ISO).
What funding is available?
Funding of $20,000 per annum is available to eligible organisations that have achieved organisational accreditation/certification.What does the funding cover?
The funding will assist in meeting costs associated with maintaining organisational accreditation/certification, such as internal auditor training and accreditation/certification fees.How can an organisation access Maintenance Funding?
An organisation eligible for Maintenance Funding should contact their contract manager at the relevant Department of Health and Ageing State or Territory Office.Before Maintenance Funding can be offered a departmental officer must verify the organisation's eligibility either by sighting the original or a copy of the organisations current certificate of accreditation / certification.
Ongoing access to Maintenance Funding will be dependant on an organisation maintaining its accreditation / certification.
