The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency reported that no serious risk was identified at the time of its Accreditation Site Audit on 14, 15 & 16 November 2000.

Under s.42-5 of the Aged Care Act 1997, the Department has taken the facility to have met the accreditation requirements for 6 months (21/12/2000 to 20/6/2001).

The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency is maintaining contact as part of the accreditation process.

The Nursing Home announced its intention to close at the end of April.

All residents have been relocated to suitable, alternative accommodation.

The sanctions expired on 24 April 2001.
