Legislation and literature review - an overview of state and territory legislation, and national and international literature, on the disposal of needles and syringes.
Evaluation - a consideration of the extent to which the Retractable Needle and Syringe Technology Initiative contributed to identifying the issues, and ways of addressing these, of the use of retractable needles and syringes by injecting illicit drug users.
