The aim of these workshops was for the government to hear the views of stakeholders, including mental health consumers, carers and non government organisations, to inform the successful implementation of specific mental health reform budget measures.
All workshops were attended by the Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, the Hon Mark Butler MP.
MHCA has published summary reports on the outcomes from each of the workshops:
- Coordinated Mental Health Care Initiative, held on 11 August 2011
- National Mental Health Commission, held on 5 September 2011 and
- Ten Year Roadmap for National Mental Health Reform, held on 6 September 2011.
