The Commonwealth is investing in the National Partnership on Northern Territory Remote Aboriginal Investment (NTRAI) from 2015-16 to 2021-22. This replaces the National Partnership Agreement on Stronger Futures in the Northern Territory (SFNT) from which was in place from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
The investment supports the integrated hearing and oral health services for children in remote communities to:
- reduce the prevalence of ear disease through audiology services, complex case management and enhanced general hearing health care to infants and their carers; and
- provide general clinical services and preventative oral health treatments through fissures, seals and fluoride varnish to children and youth.
