I've applied-what happens next?
What happens after a Voucher application has been submitted.
After receiving your completed application form the Office of Hearing Services (the Office) will:
- Confirm your eligibility for the Hearing Services Program (the Program);
- When your eligibility is confirmed the Office will send you a package containing a letter with an attached hearing services voucher, a copy of the Hearing Services Program information booklet and a list of hearing practitioners
- The information booklet explains how to arrange an appointment with the hearing practitioner of your choice, details of the Program, hearing device types and services available to you; and
- The list of hearing practitioners will help you find the closest hearing practitioner who is contracted to provider services for the Program.
Upon receipt of your package from the Office please
- Read the information booklet; and
- Contact your preferred hearing practitioner to arrange an appointment.
