Indoor Air Quality A Report on Health Impacts And Management Options
The document is an assessment of current knowledge of indoor air, specifically identifying and addressing health risks associated with poor indoor air quality, and links between health, pollutant exposures and sources of contaminants in the indoor environment.

The authors of the report include independent experts from a broad range of backgrounds involved with the scientific and administrative aspects of indoor air quality.The document is an assessment of current knowledge of indoor air, specifically identifying and addressing health risks associated with poor indoor air quality, and links between health, pollutant exposures and sources of contaminants in the indoor environment. It also discusses strategies that may be undertaken to reduce the impacts of poor indoor air quality.
The purpose of the document is to stimulate debate and raise issues that will inform future public health policy development on indoor air quality. These include the feasibility or appropriateness of addressing indoor air quality management through setting health based guidelines or standards for indoor air, or whether other strategies may be more effective in reducing health risks.
