Private Health Insurance Administration Council (PHIAC) - Agency Transfer Consultation Sessions

From 1 July 2015 functions of PHIAC are to be merged into the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA) and the Department of Health (Health). This is part of the Smaller Government 2014-15 Budget measures.

In order to provide information to industry, consultation sessions have been set up where the Department of Health and the Treasury will give an overview of the changes and take questions. The first of these sessions will be:

Date: Friday 16th January 2015
Arrivals: 09:30
Meeting: 10.00 – 13:00
Venue: Hellenic Club Woden,
Matilda Street
Woden ACT

Details of later sessions will be advised once they are finalised.

Seating will be limited at this session and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Limited teleconferencing will also be available for those who cannot attend in person.
