Private Health Insurance (Benefit requirements) Amendment Rules 2011 (No.9) - Changes to Second Tier Eligible Hospitals

The Private Health Insurance (Benefit Requirements) Amendment Rules 2011 (No.9) (the Rules) have been registered with the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) and take effect on 28 September 2011 (FRLI No. F2011L01976).

The changes to the Rules relating to Schedule 5 – Second Tier Default Benefits are outlined below.

Please note that the following hospital’s name has been changed on Schedule 5, to reflect its current State hospital licence:
