Private Health Insurance (Benefit Requirements) Amendment Rules 2011 (NO.6) – Changes to Second tier Eligible Private Hospital Facilities.

Please note that the Private Health Insurance (Benefit Requirements) Amendment Rules 2011 (No.6) (the Rules) have been registered with the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) and take effect on 19 August 2011 (FRLI No: F2011L01683).

Changes to the Rules relating to Schedule 5 – Second Tier Default Benefits are outlined below.

Schedule 5 - Deletions

The following private hospital facilities have been deleted from Schedule 5 of the Rules as they are not eligible for Second Tier Default Benefits from 19 August 2011.
