This report provides a summary of the presentations, discussions and conclusions of the After Hours Primary Medical Care (AHPMC) Symposium held in Canberra on April 3-4 2003. This was the 5th in a series of annual conferences. The 2003 Symposium sought to identify key issues and stimulate innovative thinking to inform policy and system change in order to improve the delivery of after hours care.
