Clinical Management of Otitis Media in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Populations

Middle ear infections are very common in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, and represent the most common cause of conductive hearing loss among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Effective clinical management of the condition is essential to minimise this risk and its consequences in terms of language development, education and socialisation.
