New owner for Templestowe Private Nursing Home
The Department of Health and Aged Care has today been advised of a sale of the places at Templestowe Private Nursing Home.
Lawyers for the service provider of Templestowe Private Nursing Home stated that they have reached an agreement with the Croft Health Care Group Pty Ltd regarding the sale.
This means that, once an exchange of contracts has been made and subject to approval from the Department of Health and Aged Care, the Croft Health Care Group will become the new approved provider of Templestowe Private Nursing Home.
Department State Manager Maree Bowman said "We are pleased with this outcome. The Croft Health Care Group has operated eight aged care homes in Victoria and every existing home has three years accreditation."
"The Department will work to facilitate a quick and positive outcome for the residents and families at Templestowe Private Nursing Home. This includes ensuring that any resident tranfers are consistent with residents' wishes and relevant legislative protections," Ms Bowman said.
The Department will continue to monitor the care of the residents during the transition period.
