Disability Employment Services

Previously referred to as Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS). This page provides information for eligible clients regarding access to the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.

Eligible people who are registered with a Disability Employment Services provider and are referred by an approved Disability Employment Services provider are then eligible for free services under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. Hearing aids may be provided as part of the broader employment assistance which Disability Employment Services providers deliver to eligible clients to help them find and maintain their employment. People who require hearing aids only, without other employment assistance from a Disability Employment Service provider are not eligible.
