Notes - Round 8 Cost Report

  1. All DRGs that had less than 5 separations have not been reported in order to protect the identity of the participating hospitals and the confidentiality of patients involved. These DRGs are marked '*******' in the cost weights tables.
  2. If the number of contributing hospitals for a particular DRG is less than three, then that data had been suppressed in order to protect the identity of the participating hospitals. These DRGs are marked '------' in the cost weights tables.
  3. If the number of separations for a particular DRG is less than 5 and if the number of contributing hospitals for that DRG is less than three, then these DRGs are marked '******' and the 'no of Hosp' cell for the particular DRG is marked '------' in the cost weights tables.
