e-Health Governance
The Governance area of the website has information regarding the high level system of management applying to e-Health.
Governance relating to e-Health in Australian involves the following organisations, committees and working groups. While all of the below organisations have involvement in e-Health, some organisations (such as COAG) have a much greater scope of responsibilities and only have occasional e-Health information posted to their websites.
The high level organisations include:
Council of Australian Governments (COAG);
Australian Health Ministers Advisory Council (AHMAC);
National Health Information Group (NHIG);
Australian Health Information Council (AHIC);
HealthConnect Implementation Program Managers; and
Broadband for Health Working Group.
