Ethical decision-making in sport online learning

The National Integrity of Sport Unit and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) have developed an online learning program for athletes at all levels to explore ethics in sport.

The online program provides users with a framework to approach the decisions they make ethically, and includes three interactive ethical dilemmas an athlete may face:

  • ‘It’s not banned’ – how far would you go to enhance your performance?
  • ‘Navigating the party scene’ – what would you say if offered illicit drugs?
  • ‘Losing to win’ – what would you do if you were pressured to ‘lose to win’?
The education program is available through the following link to the online learning portal.
