The Australian Type 2 Diabetes Risk Assessment Tool was developed by the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute on behalf of the Australian, state and territory governments as part of the COAG initiative to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. Further information on the risk assessment tool, type 2 diabetes and the Prevention of type 2 diabetes program is available on the Prevention of type 2 diabetes program web page.

By answering the following questions you will be able to calculate your risk of type 2 diabetes in the next 5 years.

If you have problems accessing this interactive version of the tool, or if you rely on assistive technology (such as a screenreader), you may use the non-interactive version of the diabetes risk assessment tool.
