The Communicable Diseases Network Australia wishes to advise that the information contained in the publication“ Guidelines for the control of pertussis in Australia, (November 1997) is no longer current.
Health practitioners are to consult the Australia Immunisation Handbook (section 3.16) for current information on the public health management of pertussis. The Handbook can be accessed on-line from the Immunise Australia website.
