Better health and ageing for all Australians

Flexible Funds - program consolidation

Health Social Surveys Fund

The Health Social Surveys Fund is one of the 18 flexible funds that came into operation from 1 July 2011.

The Health Social Surveys Fund will consolidate administrative and funding arrangements for the new Australian Health Survey, the Australian Longitudinal Study of Women’s Health and the Australian Longitudinal Study on Male Health. This Fund will also provide flexibility to address social health data in a more considered way, ensuring complementary data to better support the evidence base for the development of health policy.

The Government has allocated some $32 million over the next four years to the Health Social Surveys Fund.
