Reason for Sanction
The Approved Provider had not remedied previous non-compliance identified by the Department of Health and Ageing within the timeframe set by the Department. Continued Non compliance is in the following areas:
  • Inadequate documentation of resident care plans and progress notes which may lead to confusion, oversights or omissions in delivery of clinical care.
  • Inadequate and inappropriate practices related to medication management.
  • Inadequate number of appropriately skilled and qualified staff to ensure that the care needs of residents are met.

Current Status of Service
The Department and the Aged Care Standards and the Accreditation Agency are continuing to monitor the service.

The Service has appointed an adviser.
