Following a Site Audit from 27-29 June 2005 the Agency decided to accredit the service for a period of nine months, expiring 19 May 2006.

- Immediate and severe risk to the health, safety and well-being of care recipients including widespread non-compliance across all the Accreditation Standards.
- Current Status of Service
- On 23 August 2007, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal ordered that the sanctions imposed on 16 August 2007 are to be stayed pending the hearing and determination of the approved provider's application for review of the imposition of sanctions or until an earlier order is made.
The order requires the approved provider to nominate and appoint an administrator who must be approved by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Ageing in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997.
Review Audit Major Findings – Assessment Information (PDF 22474 KB) summarises the findings of Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency assessors who conducted a review audit at Belvedere Park Nursing Home on 6 August to 15 August 2007. Information that might identify individual residents or staff members has been deleted to protect their privacy.
The operator of the service has been invited to make a written response. The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency will consider any written response from the operator when making a decision about the home’s accreditation.
The approved provider has appointed an administrator.
