These projects are designed to:
"create an enabling environment to leverage the use of IT to improve efficiency, quality of services and care delivered to older Australians"
Aged Care eConnect activities include:
eBusiness continues to develop the capability enabling aged care providers and ACATs to electronically lodge key events and data, relating to the payment of aged care subsidies to aged care providers.
The Clinical IT in Aged Care project is examining ways to improve the quality of aged care delivery through the use of IT.
Resources aimed at encouraging the uptake of technology for the sector, including an Aged Care IT Implementation Kit.
