Introduction:

Using Broadband and telecommunications technology, Baptist Community Services, is facility offsite care.

Female:

One of the ideas that BCS has embraced is the provision of Telecare in the homes of older people who have chronic illnesses. It’s a simple device that will enable things like security to be monitored in the person’s home through Broadband connectivity but also vital signs such as heart, pulse, blood sugar. And the secret of the proposal is that it’s simply using the person’s television set. I think that technology over time will help us to be more efficient. Will help us to have the information we need to deliver high quality care and will enable us to continue to grow.
