Community Packaged Care and Consumer Directed Care subsidy rates effective from 1 July 2011

Dear Community Packaged Care Providers,

Community Packaged Care and Consumer Directed Care subsidy rates effective from 1 July 2011

On 1 July 2011 the subsidy rates for the Community Aged Care Package (CACP), Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH) and Extended Aged Care at Home Dementia (EACHD) and Consumer Directed Care (CDC) programs increases. The new subsidy rates are:
  • CACP - $36.73 per day
  • EACH - $122.79 per day
  • EACHD - $135.41 per day
Additionally, the subsidy for CDC packages will also increase in line with the subsidy increase for the community packaged care programs. The CDC subsidy rates from 1 July 2011 are:
  • Consumer Directed Care Low - $36.73 per day
  • Consumer Directed Care High - $122.79 per day
  • Consumer Directed Care High Dementia - $135.41 per day
