Announcement of Successful Demonstration Sites for Day Respite
ITA: DDR-07/08 – Invitation to apply for funding to establish and operate a demonstration site for day respite in a residential aged care facility

In July 2007, the department issued an Invitation To Apply (ITA) for funding to establish and operate demonstration sites for day respite in residential aged care facilities. As a result of the ITA, 30 residential aged care facilities across Australia were awarded grants totalling $34.6 million over 2007-08 to 2010-11 under the National Respite for Carers Program.
